So this is my second to last real journal for this account. Like I've said it's time for a brand new start for numerous reasons but the most important one being that I don't feel I can grow as an artist, especially with what "brand" of art I've been producing here. Not happy with it, I have already started my career since being out of college and my art is more sophisticated than the crap I've been producing for years.

Now's the time for change. Let's face it, I've outgrown this dumpy little account. I hate the name/ all the art I've come up with here. Not to mention I've graduated college like 3 months ago. Now's the time for me to get serious about my art as I transition into my career. I mean I've been serious about my art for a while but I've been stuck in-between wanting to grow as an artist yet being too stubborn/ possibly afraid to finally venture out of my comfort zone in order to enhance my skills and unleash my potential to new heights.

So it officially sucks being back in dumb ol' Wisconsin! Have you ever gone to a place you've never been before and yet everything seems so familiar and never before have you felt so at peace. Like you're truly home? Yeah, that's exactly how I feel about California. I attended Siggraph, which was great BTW, and I got some free swag+ some pretty good leads on some paid internships. I also had the luxury of going EVERYWHERE I could while on the west coast!
I was in Downtown LA for 3 days: visited Little Tokyo & Chinatown, walked the city and went to Siggraph at the LA Convention center. Drove over to Grover Beach and stayed for two days. Went
